Well i like the slapstic nature of the tv show. It can be compared to those anime tv shows wherein daydreams and thoughts happen in the mind of the main character, J.D.(Zach Braff), and is actually shown happening in the surrounding. They have a good mix of characters and that gives a chance for great dialogue. And i guess, for me, a comedy needs very much. Turk(Donald Faison ) can dance also, pretty well!! And sings from time to time. I think he got the part cuz he can perform. Maybe he's one of those disney kids that sing and dance. Wll this show is like E.R. only in a not so serious tone(comedy, duh!) and majority of the main characters are still interns(so its pretty much like Grey's Anatomy also). The main cast of Scrubs: John C. McGinley (Dr. Cox), Neil Flynn (Janitor), Sarah Chalke (Elliot), Zach Braff (John Dorian, or J.D.), Donald Faison (Turk), Ken Jenkins (Kelso), and Judy Reyes (Carla). Supporting characters are: Robert Maschio as Dr. Todd "The Todd" Quinlan—Cosmetic Surgery Fellow/Surgical Attending, Aloma Wright as Nurse Laverne Roberts/Nurse Shirley, Sam Lloyd as Theodore "Ted" Buckland—Hospital Attorney, Christa Miller as Jordan Sullivan—Administrative Worker, Hospital Board Member and Perry Cox's ex-wife, Johnny Kastl as Dr. Doug Murphy—Pathology MD, Travis Schuldt as Dr. Keith Dudemeister—MD Resident, Charles Chun as Dr. Wen—Surgical Attending, Mike Schwartz as Lloyd the Delivery Guy—Delivery Guy, Michael Hobert as Lonnie—MD Resident, Elizabeth Banks as Dr. Kim Briggs—Urologist Scott Foley as Sean Kelly—Elliot Reid's two-time boyfriend, Tara Reid as Danni Sullivan—J.D.'s two-time girlfriend, Heather Graham as Dr. Molly Clock—Attending Psychiatrist. Cast from Spin City have also been guest stars as well as The Muppets. the 7th season was the final season because of the WGA strike. hhmm saddens me. i really enjoy the first season.
